The test car going flat into the corner called NGK after the sparkplug. That is why we often call it the SparkPlug – the local fans call it “Tändstiften” – just try to pronounce that!
The MR2 is pretty steady into the difficult SparkPlug. Up to 90 percent the car is rock steady, from 90 to 100 the car is a little floating; you realise it is not fitted with track suspension. Besides the rubber, /55 profile up front and /50 at the rear is definitely better at you favourite route along the seaside than into this fast tricky bend. In measure point 1 MR2 won’t do more than 110km/h; we did 114km/h with an Opel Speedster.
