THE SUPER CARS are getting faster and faster; that is for sure – the coming Porsche will have more power than the present, and it is the same story with Lamborghini, Ferrari, Corvette and TVR etc. But more power is not the only truth – try to study concept cars from Opel, Saab and Mitsubishi – they are all pointing at next generation in three different directions.

The Frogster from Opel finds its roots back in the 60´s trying to create a fun, sporty roadster with low output - just like old days Austin Frogeye: Today we love the British sports car, but let’s be honest, it wasn’t exactly fast.

9X from Swedish Saab is trying to fill out the gap between a fast sports saloon and a station car – the same basic idea as different Audi Avant-models. But Saab is searching for new design limits.
