Carrera GT
In terms of driving performance, the Porsche Carrera GT supercar enters a whole new dimension, requiring a mere 9.9 seconds to accelerate from 0-124mph (200km/h). The Carrera GT comes with more than 70 innovations, all of which have been registered by Porsche for patent. This includes the Porsche Ceramic Composite Clutch (PCCC), a world-first achievement, conveying maximum torque of 435lb-ft (590Nm) to the rear axle.
911 GT2
The Porsche 911 GT2 has been revised for 2004 to create the most powerful road-going version of the 911 yet, with a maximum output of 483bhp (355kW).
911 GT3
The development goal for Porsche Weissach engineers was to completely redesign the 911 GT3. And by concentrating on enhancing the excellent handling capabilities, matched to high levels of active safety and lightweight design, the result is even greater performance and driver-orientated chassis dynamics.
911 GT3 RS
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS offers enthusiasts the power and purist qualities of a thoroughbred circuit racer whilst being fully road-legal. In development of the ‘RS’ the emphasis was on achieving the best power-to-weight ratio. A figure of 280bhp/tonne is the result.
911 Turbo
Celebrating thirty years since its debut, the Porsche 911 Turbo has become established as one of the world’ s best supercars and, with a top speed of 190mph (305km/h) and 0-62mph acceleration (0-100km/h) in a mere 4.2 seconds, the current model is no exception.
911 Turbo S
The new Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe and Cabriolet models build on the awe-inspiring attributes of the 911 Turbo, taking the driving experience to a new, higher level. The evocative twin-turbocharged, 3.6-litre flat six engine has been tuned in the Turbo S to develop more power and torque - 450bhp (331kW) and 457lb-ft (620Nm) – and this manifests itself in stunning in-gear acceleration.
911 Carrera 4S Coupe
The 320bhp Porsche 911 Carrera 4S comes with four-wheel drive as standard, and adopts the wide-bodied looks of the 911 Turbo. The Carrera 4S suspension is also based on that of the 911 Turbo and is lowered by 10mm compared with the standard car. The Carrera 4S also adopts the Turbo’s more powerful braking system and powertrain mountings.
911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet
In developing the 911, Porsche engineers focused from the start on creating a cabriolet version, making the bodyshell particularly strong and rigid. The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet shares the chassis set-up of the Coupe, but with the added pleasure of open-top motoring. Roof operation is electrohydraulic, allowing the driver to open or close the roof automatically in just 20 seconds at the touch of a button.
Boxster
The heart of the Porsche Boxster – and Boxster S – is the classic flat six ‘boxer’ engine. VarioCam technology boosts output of the 2.7-litre engine in the Boxster to 228bhp (168kW). Powerful and refined, the engine is instantly recognisable by its distinctive note. With its low centre of gravity and mid-mounted position, it is also fundamental to the car’s exceptional road holding.
Boxster S
The Porsche Boxster is powered by a 3.2-litre version of the six cylinder ‘boxer’ engine coupled to a six-speed manual transmission. The power unit develops a maximum output of 260bhp (191kW) at 6,200rpm, accelerating this outstanding roadster from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 5.7 seconds. The steering response is direct and precise, providing detailed feedback from the road which, combined with the overall chassis set-up, ensures the Boxster S delivers a truly engaging driving experience.
Cayenne
The new six cylinder Cayenne has a power output of 250bhp (184kW) at 6,000rpm. Porsche Traction Management (PTM) is fitted as standard delivering, in basic mode, 38 per cent of the engine’s power to the front wheels and 62 per cent to the rear. This enables the car to maintain tyre grip in varying road conditions. The Cayenne also features a new six speed manual transmission, with a built-in low ratio gearbox and lockable centre differential.
Cayenne S
The Cayenne is a Porsche through and through – not only in its design, so typical of the marque, its powerful engine and outstanding brakes, but also through the wide range of technological highlights featured for the first time on a car of this type. The Cayenne S features a brand-new, normally aspirated 4.5-litre V8 power unit with 340bhp (250kW).
Cayenne Turbo
The Cayenne Turbo combines outstanding power, supreme comfort and a wide range of innovations in technology both for performance motoring on the road and the toughest off-road requirements. Displacing 4.5-litres, the brand-new V8 bi-turbo power unit complete with intercoolers develops 450bhp (331kW) at 6,000rpm. The outstanding all-terrain qualities of the other models are shared by the Cayenne Turbo, but are further enhanced by standard air suspension with six performance specific height settings.
