· MGŽs Porsche killer is still alive

· New Poll – Smart or not

BRUTAL V8 MUSCLES and power enough to tarmac flying at 320 km/t – 200 mph! British MG is testing a prototype of the coming Porsche-killer (or fighter) named the X80 proved by these spy pictures.

We have seen a brilliant red concept car at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show – but these spy pictures prove the project is still alive.

The MG X80 is a true sports car. Front-engine, rear-wheel drive and power from a V8 unit. With 400 HP or more the car is powerful enough to do a top speed of the magic 200 mph – or 320 km/h.

We believe the MG supercar is ready in the showroom early 2003.
