CARLSSON OR AMG? That is a choice you have to make if you want a faster version of the new Mercedes-Benz SL-class. AMG is the official Mercedes-Benz tuner; you can even buy the tuned version at your normal dealer and have the normal guarantee.

One of the best out-house tuners is German Carlsson, that launche their go-faster-version of SL at the coming Essen Motor Show, Essen, Germany (the show is open from November 30 – December 12.) With the very same tuning technique as AMG, SuperCharger, Carlsson launches the close to 500 HP SL-class by the end of this year – AMG customers have to wait until February 2002.
