NOTES OF INTEREST

Grand Prix Americas weekend will mark the return of street racing to Miami
for the first time since 1995. The city was home to many successful sports
car racing events in the 1980s and 1990s, and the international flavour of
the American Le Mans Series is a perfect fit for the melting pot of cultures
that is Miami. The weekend will also mark the historic first pairing of the
ALMS with the CART FedEx Championship Series, as well as a rare motorsports
"dual headline" event. The 1.57-mile temporary racing circuit is located in
the Downtown section of Miami and includes portions of Biscayne Boulevard,
Bayfront Park and adjacent city streets.

WEBSITES: The official website of the American Le Mans Series is located at
www.americanlemans.com. The website for the event is www.miamirace.com.
