THE 2002 CORVETTE Z06 clocks the same time as Ferrari 360 Modena. But the price is one third of the Italian.

These are sportscartesting.com Editor Harvey Schwartz main conclusions in his First Drive test of the new Corvette published today. Schwartz explains:

“I’m talking about 0-60mph in 3.9sec. with experienced hands, the 1/4mi. in 12.4sec. at 116mph, and a top speed of 185mph, straight from the factory. Sure the Lamborghini Diablo VT is a click faster but it costs $290,000.00, the Ferrari 360 Modena clocks the same but is priced at $153,000.”

”Those prices keep most enthusiasts out of the game but the new Z06 costs only $49,505.00 making it more affordable to those who dare drive it”. Schwartz says in his test report.

Schwartz tested the 2001 Z06 a year ago – “the new one is definitely better!”
