1. WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 31. 2001

THIS IS THE car other sports cars have to beat from today: The 2002 BMW 330 Ci.

The 6-cyl 231 bhp powerful 330 Ci is stronger and faster than many other sports car, including smaller members of the BMW 3 series family and it is not as expensive as the M3, Coupé and Cabriolet. And don’t forget – the 330 Ci is a true rear-wheel drive car.

Last week the test team went to our test track Ring Knutstorp, Sweden to drive for the answer – is the BMW the correct choice right now? The top speed at the end of the straight as fast as Porsche Boxster S and faster into Measure Point 1 the Lotus Elise were the answers we were looking for: 330 Ci is the car to beat right now.

The days before the BMW proved it is a fine Grand Tourer doing Copenhagen-Stockholm non stop.

Full test report including the results into all 4 Measure Points, accelerations from 0-160 km/h, braking and so on will follow. Including the complete video...
