THE V8 BATTLE at the BMW M3 field continues. Here comes the next M3 V8, the new Racing Dynamics R 50 Tornado V8 S, which celebrated its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show IAA 2001. With more power, bigger wheels and a much lower price ticket it looks like a tough competitor to the coming M3 GTR from BMW.
But notice, the V8 engine in the Racing Dynamics car is tuned a version of the power plant known from the M5 – this is another type of engine than in the coming M3 GTR, this car comes with a street version of the racing engine from American Le Mans Series; a highly tuned street engine versus a “down tuned” engine build for competition.
Sporty styled bodystyling kit, Dueton special paintwork and three-piece 20in wheels with Yokohama high performance tires that are specially developed for this car are other special features. With top speed 300+ km/h the new Racing Dynamics M3 will from Day 1 take its place among the world's fastest and most exclusive sports cars.
The development of the car is also for the benefit of the owners of a current M3 who want to customize their coupe or convertible.
