NEW 6-SERIES COUPE, new 6-series 4-seater cabriolet and new V10 engine. We start the New Year 2002 with great news from the Bavarian manufacturer, BMW from Munich.

There are no official announcement from BMW yet, but we are sure the Germans are going to present their new 6 series coupe by the end of this year or the beginning of 2003. The 6-sereis will start as a coupe based on the forthcoming 5-series saloon, which will be followed by a 4-seater cabriolet version.

The same year we are expecting a top-of -the-range version, the BMW M6 with the same V10 powerplant as we will find in the coming M5.

Today we publish “drawings” based on the black disguised cars our spies have seen around the World. The last few weeks some automotive journals have showed pictures of a Z3 looking “spycar”. We believe, BMW is using an old Z3 body to test technique to the coming 6-series coupe as shown today.

TALKING ABOUT THE year 2002. Remember one of the best BMW´s ever, the BMW 2002 from the end of the 60´es and the beginning of the 70´es. Rumours again and again say the Germans will make a new 2002. Perhaps the BMW 3-series M-version will get the legendary name of BMW 2002 – launched in 2002?
