I DO KNOW the real Formula One drivers are doing more than 320 kmh right here by the end of the straight. But I ensure you – 100 kmh less, 220 is still very, very fast when you are driving a streetcar – and believe you should have braked a l o o o n g time ago.
But your own limits are pushed forward when you enter a drivers course – like the Audi Driving Experience course I am doing to day.
Many car manufacturers are offering driving courses to show you how fast and good handling their cars are – BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo just to mention a few. And Audi. I have done several Audi Driving Courses all over Europe – including the one I am doing today: An advanced course at the Spanish Formula One track, Circuit de Catalunya, not far away from Barcelona.
We are driving the limousine Audi S8, the 4-wheel drive Audi S5 and as you already know the midengine supercar R8.
