Motor Show Special: Mercedes-Benz SL 350

THERE IS NOT always a need to have 500 bhp in order to have fun. It seems, that MB had a special focus on horsepower lately, but at the Paris Motor Show MB has introduced the SL 350 to round up the current SL range only available as a SL 500 or SL 55 AMG.

This new 3.7-litre engine V6 is a further development of the current 3.2-litre engine with the result of 245 bhp and a max. torque of 350 Nm at 3.000 rpm.

As standard equipment MB has combined this V6 power unit with the automated 6-speed transmission Sequentronic, which is operated from the steering wheel in typical racing car fashion in permits particularly rapid gear changes at the touch of buttons.
