Motor Show Special: Alfa Romeo 147 GTA

ALMOST THE SAME car as the Alfa Romeo 156 GTA – just lighter and smaller. This is the promising fact about one of the shining news from Italy, the VW Golf R32 chasing Alfa Romeo 147 GTA.

Engine is the same 3.2-litre V6 power unit we know from the 156 GTA: 32 valves and 250 HP. Front-engine and front wheel drive.

The 156 GTA looked more than racy, when we saw it for the first time in Frankfurt 2001 – but on the tarmac is disappointed quite a lot test drivers. Now we are looking forward to meet outside the French halls. Here it looked even better than its bigger brother did.
