Motor Show Special: Ford GT40

WHAT A SHOCK: Ford’s GT40 is back. The NAIAS 2002 Star of the Show is an old friend, the 60´s Le Mans legend GT40. Reborn as a brand new car (with a brand old design), fitted with a modern V8 engine – 32 valves and supercharger.

The new GT40 features a 500 hp V8 capable of around 200 mhp / 320 km/h. Ultimately it could be put into limited production, Ford says.

FACTS:
V8 – 32 valves – supercharger – 500 hp – rear-wheel drive – midengine.
