Opel Irmscher Twenty Seven

The only Lotus 7 replica-like car we could find apart from at clubsport version at Yokohama´s stand. This one is build by Opel-tuner Irmscher, so it’s hard to find anyone being surprised that the cars doesn’t run with a Ford or perhaps motorcycle engine.

The hard facts: Opel 2.2-litre engine, 725 kg kerbweight and 147 bhp – that makes 4.9 kg/bhp which is enough to do the 100 km/h-sprint in only 5.3 sec.
Wheels are big to this kind of car; 16 in at both axles.
