IN 1998 I bought my Panoz AIV Roadster. Maybe You tested it (How do I get a copy?). I also visited the factory, shook hands with Dan Panoz and enjoyed Chateau Elan in Hochston GA for 3 days. My wife is very ill so she stayed home.
I also spent a little time at the factory thanking them for all their help (3 year warrantee). People stop and gape when they see me. They actually give me the right of way!
It has the 305 horsepower Ford Mustang Cobra 4.6 liter V8. It weighs 2,600 pounds (I weighed it) has an aluminum frame and body, double "A" arm adjustabble suspension, super handling, a beautiful Rio red paint job, throw away your magnet, there's nothing it will attract to on the outside, 0 to 60 around 4.6 seconds, it eats any convertible (except maybe a Viper) and cost me $55,000 new.
Panoz assigned "Johnny's Auto Clinic" in San Pedto as my "Dealer" and between the three of us (Panoz, Johnny's and me) we solved the teething problems at no charge to me!
There's NOTHING like it!
