THE MUSIC OF SILENCE

SO SMOOTH, SO silent and yet so revy. The V8 engine is elegant and it is a fact we are not missing the supercharger. With 300 HP – 298 bhp (to be precise) the car is never missing power proofed by the top speed of 155 mph – 250 kmp.
That does not mean we are not looking forward to drive the coming XFR. The BMW M5 and Audi RS6 fighter will show up with the same 4.2 V8 as “our” car, but it’s likely that it later will come with a new 5.0-litre unit later in the models life cycle.
But as a fast saloon that belongs rather to the Autobahn than the Nürburgring Nordschleife the 4196 cc, 298 bhp unit is just fine.
