   First drive: The Verdict!
13. The Verdict!

It was well worth the wait for Ford to re-introduce the Thunderbird, now brought back as it originally was, small, compact and very sporty. It is the perfect top-down weekend getaway toy for two-and still a solid performer.

What we like
· Strong handling prowess (for it’s class)
· Lane change capacity
· Highway cruising
· For a cruiser the perfect combination of performance and luxury
· Bond girl Jinx is driving one

What we don’t like
· We ARE missing a little power

5 OUT OF 5

The T-Bird is not a sports car in the same league as Corvette, 911 or cars like Lotus Elise. But for it’s class it is class!
