   First drive: The Verdict!
13. The Verdict!

SO WHAT IS the verdict at the end of the day? No question – the fun factor is 5 out of 5.

But the Cooper is not a pumped up hot hatch on steroids – it is more a retro pocket rocket, which is fully usable for every day driving. And that is that what makes this car so remarkable.

WHAT WE LIKE

· The personality
· The design
· The driving position
· The sharp turn-in
· The pedals
· Neutral handling
· 17” wheels in Mini-Lite style
· Immense fun to drive and sheer power

WHAT WE DON’T LIKE

· The plastic quality

You will maybe have noticed that our verdict is very similar to the regular Cooper – obviously off course – but what we missed in the Cooper – more power and a better sound – is fulfilled by the Cooper S and therefore the one and only Cooper in our mind.
