THIS WEEKEND THE fourth Sportscar Event was held at a small, but tricky track near the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen.
34 fast sports cars – most Ferraris as a matter of fact – and their owners were ready to take guests around the track. The money paid for the co-drivers-laps were given to the children of the Danish Børnecancerfonden.
Fastest car on the KTI track was the V12 Enzo Ferrari and a couple of Ferrari Challenge cars. But the brand new 4-wheel drive V10 wonder Lamborghini Gallardo was perhaps just as fast followed by a bunch of light weight cars, Lotus Elise, Lotus 340R and Opel Speedster.
Among the drivers were Ferrari Challenge front driver René Rasmussen, the Event promoter Bo Jørgensen, the organiser Jan Mathisen and our own Editor-In-Chief Flemming Haslund.
Almost 400 guests wanted to help the children, to watch the fast and beautiful cars – and breathe the smell of burnin’ rubber. |
